After being sponsored through her Business degree at Oxford Brooks University, Julia Fitzgerald was in an enviable position, knowing exactly what she wanted from a career. Julia studied for her degree part-time and spent the rest of her time working in different departments of the software company sponsoring her. Through this she was able to experience the excitement and dynamism of a sales environment and knew immediately that it was for her.

A personality perfect for sales

One of Julia's colleagues, a fellow successful candidate placed by Pareto Law, recommended our process and Julia was duly telephone interviewed, arriving at the assessment centre in London a week later. Having impressed, Julia sailed through the assessment day and soon after began a new career with one of Pareto Law's largest clients, Computer Associates, the third largest software manufacturer in the world.

Varied and responsible role

Julia is now based at Computer Associates' prestigious Datchet U.K Head Offices as a telesales representative, responsible for accounts across the country. "As well as raising quotes, handling upgrades and generally ensuring our customers are satisfied, I also spend time researching the market and generating leads to open new accounts and increase our U.K coverage.
