Miles Hall, Regional Director
Miles was a natural for sales and managed to secure a role at IPC Media in their classified department working across their market leading Home Interest Portfolio of magazines. It was during their industry renowned 3 week induction programme, that Miles honed his sales skills and realised the value of intensive sales training when starting a career. Looking back, this thorough training proved invaluable and gave Miles the buzz for sales and the taste of earning lots of money, driven by commission and targets.
He then moved into IT Recruitment and spent 8 months with a firm in London, gaining first hand experience of synergies between sales and recruitment. As a passionate West Ham fan he jumped at the chance of working on a football magazine and moved on to Future Publishing.
After a year selling football onto Ad Agency schedules, he then was tempted into Radio advertising, again driven by the high octane sales environment and big bonuses. Miles worked at TalkSport for two years and then was poached by Opus (now part of Gcap). Miles then moved to Qsoft as Sales Director to set up their radio division. After a year there, and market consolidation changing the dynamics of the radio market, Miles was looking for a new challenge. Through a relative who works at Pareto, Miles learned of the franchising opportunities and the rest is kind of history.
His sports prowess does not stop with football, Miles is also an undefeated champion table football player and can often be found defending his title in the games room at our Cheshire training suite.
Miles' ethos for the success of the South East office is to Enjoy themselves, learn as much as possible and strive for excellence.
